A move rarely happens in a single day. The old home may already need to be cleared while the new one is not ready, leaving furniture, appliances and boxes in the way. A private ROOM can hold those belongings temporarily.
What to place in storage
A ROOM is a private enclosed unit. Your belongings remain separate from those of other customers, and the unit size can be matched to the actual volume of your move.
Start with belongings you will not need during the first few days. Keep documents, medicine, valuables and daily essentials with you.
- Furniture and household appliances
- Boxes of clothes, books and kitchenware
- Suitcases, bicycles and seasonal belongings
- Home textiles and decorations
- Archives, tools and packed personal items
Start with an inventory
List your belongings before choosing a size. Measure large items and count the boxes. If the volume is difficult to estimate, take several photos of the furniture and packed boxes.
Consider shape as well as floor area. A disassembled wardrobe needs less room, while boxes of the same size can be stacked more safely.
How to prepare your belongings
Group belongings by room or category. Label every box with its contents and the room where it should go after the move.
Disassemble furniture where practical. Keep fittings in labelled bags and protect corners and surfaces with cardboard, film or soft packing material.
Defrost, clean and fully dry refrigerators and freezers in advance. Wrap fragile items separately and clearly mark their boxes.
How to arrange a ROOM
Place heavy and stable items at the bottom. Belongings that will not be needed until the move is complete can go towards the back, with frequently needed boxes closer to the door.
Keep a walkway to important items. Do not place heavy boxes on fragile belongings or press objects against appliances. Shelving can make better use of the height and keep boxes organised.
How to book a ROOM
Prepare an inventory, approximate measurements of large items and a few photos. Then message us on Telegram or call. The manager will help estimate the area, check available ROOM units and suggest a Kharkiv location.
Arrange your visit in advance. Our facility attendant will meet you and show you to your ROOM, help you find your way around and answer practical questions. You open the unit with your own key. This process helps us look after the safety of customers and stored belongings.
